Great day at Leixlip Castle for my step-son Patrick's wedding to Michelle. Managed to get a panorama of everyone though it's a little hard to see who's who at this size!

Delighted to have caught the last night of this rarely performed Sean O'Casey play at the National Theatre, London. I've been wanting to see it for a long time and this is a wonderful production.

Working on post with Brian Dowling at BDImages. Sometimes I look at pictures I've shot on digital and wish I had shot them on film. Digital is just too sharp, too hard edged and sometimes it can be hard to take that off in the post though this series shot with Lauren English seems to be working out well.

I'm glad I'm not a passport photographer. It took three separate sessions to get these pictures. At least now the girls will be able to go on their summer holiday.

I chair the NGO Sport Against Racism Ireland (SARI) and every June, with UNHCR Ireland, we host the World Refugee Day Fair Play Cup at The Law Society sports grounds in Dublin. It's an opportunity to mark the plight of refugees worldwide and the lives of those refugees living in Ireland - and to invite them to take part in the tournament. Many of them are refugees in waiting - Asylum seekers - living in Direct Provision Centres scattered around the country. They are not allowed to work and receive €19.10 per week.
